Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What makes World Fitness Association different from other nationally recognized certifications?

We are currently living in a digital era where most institutions have transitioned to web based learning platforms. This instruction method may work for certain industries but NOT for fitness. Especially when it comes to educating individuals on becoming safe, effective and confident fitness professionals. After all, personal training is a hands-on business!

WFA specializes in live, hands-on practical fitness training. This unique training approach prepares aspiring personal trainers and bootcamp instructors for modern, real world scenarios.

As a result of these proven instruction methods, WFA is the preferred alternative to online and self-study certification programs.

Q: Is World Fitness Association NCCA accredited?

The National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) was created in 1987 to help ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the public through the accreditation of a variety of certification programs/organizations that assess professional competence. NCCA accredited programs certify individuals in a wide range of professions and occupations including nurses, automotive professionals, respiratory therapists, counselors, emergency technicians, crane operators and more.

World Fitness Association is not accredited through the NCCA due to the hands-on method of instruction that cannot be sufficiently evaluated by the NCCA. World Fitness Association is nationally recognized and widely accepted by most major gyms and health clubs both nationally and internationally. Since 1980, WFA’s credibility has been built on the quality of the individuals that are enrolled and the professional, hands-on fitness training that is provided.

WFA is an accredited business consistently scoring an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) annual report.
